Corsaro Named Director of Screening and Patient Services

科萨罗(Corsaro)在新的行政职位中将协助院长临床事务和质量Panos Zoidis,D.D.S.,M.S.,Ph.D。,with oversight of the screening clinic and management of patient services in the TEAMS predoctoral clinics. Corsaro’s new role serves to increase efficacy in patient screening and assignment, as well as to enhance patient services and satisfaction in the TEAMS clinic environment.

Among many initiatives in the director role, Corsaro will monitor patient safety reports and oversee safety-related aspects of the TEAMS clinic surveillance program to ensure compliance with infection prevention and documentation of safety and privacy protocols. Corsaro has been serving as chair of the UF College of Dentistry Clinical Affairs and Quality Assurance (CAQA) shared governance committee, and he’ll continue to serve on the CAQA Committee and the Clinical Quality Improvement Team subcommittee.

Corsaro joined the UFCD faculty in 2018 in the Department of Restorative Dental Sciences Division of General Dentistry. A team leader, Corsaro’s primary responsibility has been teaching predoctoral students in the clinical setting, as well as providing didactic and preclinical teaching, while also providing care for patients in the college’s faculty practice. He has additionally served as an assistant to the associate dean for clinical affairs and quality the last several years, helping oversee and manage clinic-related concerns, operations and special projects.
